Dear Tina and Ken, Our heartfelt sympathies. Shobhi was not only a friend but a family member to us. She was so kind, loving and ever so gracious. Shobhi welcomed us iinto her home and life and made everyone so comfortable- even youngsters like Danielle and Tiffany, who enjoyed just chatting or plying cards with her.. Shobhi's warm smile, hearty laughter and funny sayings (aiyo, holy shoot, yellow store) will be missed dearly. Shobhi your heart was as big as your home.. We loved your sense of fashion, and good taste. You will be dearly missed by the Serpes family. You have left an imprint in our hearts forever, Love you Shobi.Till we meet again. Sirita

We will miss you dear Auntie Shobhi..Our families have shared many decades together. In that time we have shared many laughs and tears through many good times and not so good times. It was lovely to see you so many times down the hall at Ken and Rima's. Despite all your health challenges you remained gracious, gorgeous and welcoming. You are a brave spirit. Our condolences and prayers of comfort go out to the entire family and to all those that knew her and love her as we do. Give our love to Uncle Shazi. God Bless. Love Lorna Anne Creamer-Eling and Christopher

Dear Tap and Tina
Remembering Shobha Aunty with much love. May God give you both strength to get through this time.
I always remember Aunty’s beauty, elegance and style. I wanted to decorate my home like her’s with its black and white and glass decor! She was good fun too. Love to all of you

Dear Ken and Tina, Iove and prayers go out to you at this time of loss. May you be each others strength and support as you face this difficult hour.
I have many childhood memories of Aunty Shobhi, glowing and beautiful..and of the sparkle she brought to our Uncle Shazi's eyes. What a handsome couple they made!
We met last when Fazal and I visited Toronto and I'm sharing a picture taken in their home. Although that was many decades ago, I have the happiest memories of our time with them. I think of them together again, and that makes me smile.
Rest in peace Aunty Shobhi...reunited with all your loved ones.

Dear Tina & Ken;
I am so, so sorry for your loss. Your Mom was such an amazing person. Such a good friend to my Mom & Dad for decades (Nan & John Campbell). I have such fond memories of having tea with them all when they lived on Eglinton Avenue in Scarborough. Also beautiful memories of phone conversations with your Mom in the years since my parents passed. Sad for all of those left behind, but sending your Mom much white light and love on her journey to heaven. I truly feel honoured to have known her. I am sending love and healing to all.

Dearest Tina Masi, Neil, Ken and Rima,
I am so saddened by the news of shobhi auntie. She was without a doubt one of the most loving, genuine and beautiful souls. Heaven is richer now with her presence. I have the fondest memories of her during my time in Toronto. We used to be up all night, chatting away about just about anything.. her laugh was infectious. I am really going to miss her. May she rest in peace. She used to often tell.me that whenever she's goes, it will be an exciting time because she will reunite with the love of her life, uncle Shazi. I hope they're holding eachother and smiling down at the rest of us.
All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love always,
Madhav

Good bye Dearest Shobi, our long standing friendship of over fifty hears has brightened my life. There was so much I admired about you. Your determination to soldier on in spite of your illness and pain, your wonderful sense of decor and design, your yummy biriyani, and the way you could laugh at yourself when you said or did something silly!! I will miss our late night chats that went into the wee hours of the morning. Sometimes we fell asleep on our phones!
I extend my deepest condolences to Tina and Neil, Ken and Rima, the grand children and great grand children. Your loss is beyond measure. God help and sustain you during this tragic timd.

Rest In Paradise my sweet Grandma Shobhi. You were such a vibrant, loving person and losing you has been the worst heartbreak of my life. I will always cherish all the memories of you close to my heart. Your beautiful smile lit up every room you entered, and your laugh was so contagious. Thank you so much for waiting for us to say goodbye, for that I am truly grateful. I am at peace knowing you are no longer in any pain, and that you are with my grandfather who I unfortunately never met, but felt like I knew through all the lovely stories and precious memories you shared with me every single time I saw you. I’d like to think you both are looking out for me from heaven, my two angels. Your wings were ready, but my heart was definitely not. I love you sooooo much.
With all my love, hugs and xxxxx. Until we meet again
If flowers grew in heaven,
Lord, please pick a bunch for me.
Then place them in my grandmothers arms
And tell her they’re from me.
Tell her that I love and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
Place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while.
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it everyday.
But there is an ache within my heart
That will never go away.

Shobie masi was our princess of hearts .. Child like in her innocence and naïveté .. a pure soul .. full of life love laughter and endless endearing stories about her cats and dogs. She lived life to the fullest .. Queen size!
She was my role model when I was a teenager. Her beauty and elegance were unsurpassed. How could anyone be so beautiful so elegant and yet so child like .. only our unique Shobie masi!
She was my mother’s favourite person .. my mum’s eyes would light up at the mention of Shobie’s name. My mother is heartbroken beyond measure.
RIP.. Beautiful soul.

My beautiful nani masi. I'll never forget your smile, your laugh and your frustration with the online poker software that you were in a constant battle with!! I am so grateful that I got to know you during my time in Canada. You will always be deeply loved and your memories cherished. You live on in our hearts and minds and will be deeply missed.
