I am writing this note of condolence on behalf of my late wife, Joan, who predeceased Vicki Lynn by just 5 weeks. Joan had a special; relationship with Vicki Lynn and would certainly have wanted to express her own words of condolence. From a personal point I will miss Joan's comments after each of her frequent conversations with Vicki-Lynn. So for Joan and me -- rest in peace Vicki Lynn. Ted Fullerton

Vicki-Lynn was for many years a dedicated member of Girl Guides of Canada and, like her mother before her, a valued supporter of the London Trefoil Guild. Although she moved away from London some years ago, she stayed in touch and is fondly remembered by many Guiding members in the London area, both girls and adults, and was a source of inspiration for all who met her. Although I did not know Vicki, I certainly do know a few members of her family; specifically Kristi and Khloe because of Girl Guides. Please know that I am sorry for your loss and I am thank-full for Leaders such as Vicki who kept Girl Guides going in our area for others to have experienced such a great institution. My sincere condolences to the Rigsby family on the loss of Vicki Lynn. I have known Vicki Lynn for 40 years through Girl Guides in London and learned so much from her over the years. Vicki brought so much laughter to meetings and her ability to share her knowledge with new leaders and girls alike was amazing. Vicki Lynn set an example of strength and courage during her years of medical issues and it is something I remembered during my own struggle with a life changing illness and for that I will always be thankful.

I remember Vicki Lynn from Guiding activities in London, ON, when I was part of the Trefoil Guiders group hosted at the Rigsby home. Vicki was always busy with Guiding friends, supportive and encouraging of those with whom she worked. She was fun to work with, and a wonderful example of "A Guide is a friend to all, and a sister to other Guides". We are sorry for our loss. Joan Bolam
