My family and I are deeply saddened by our loss. Since 1978 I had the pleasure of knowing his daughter, Susan, and his future son-in-law Micheal at York University. In 1981 Micheal, his son, similar to Susan, did me the honour of being my friend. I knew based on these fine young adults, the parents must be exceptional people. I was not wrong. Then came Rosalia, Michael's wife, a beautiful, joyous person who we all cherish. She befriended my future wife, Jennifer, to such an extent she was a bridesmaid at our wedding. All these years later I remember these things and we remember the absolute graciousness of Donna and Stephen, who without fail would join our families as we enjoyed our friendship, and later our children, through many trips to St. Catharines or Port Colborne. Stephen and Donna made these already fun visits, nicer. In later years if they couldn't get over for a visit, there was a phone call to say how sorry they were that they couldn't join us. This graciousness remains remarkable to me to this day. All our love to all, and thank you, Stephen, for being a part of my (our) life. Patrick, Jennifer, Kathleen, and Sean Connor. xoxo
