I don't know why but started thinking of Steve and the fun we had at Northern High school and at my parent's cottage. I hadn't seen or hear from him in 50 years. So I looked him up and unfortunately he has passed. Great guy lots of fun RIP Weavy Stevey

Dear Nancy, I was shocked and saddened to read of the recent death of Stephen. I have fond memories of our time together when you and Stephen were dating, and when you lived in London. May you find the strength to carry on, with the help of the love of family and friends. Sincerely, Anne

Steven and I first met around 50 years ago when his parents (and the rest of the family) were stationed in New Glasgow with the Salvation Army. The next 5 years or so, Steven and I (as well as others) became very good friends. When the Salvation Army had them moved to another location it was a great loss and I missed him (them) a lot. We lost contact over the years and it was just recently I was able to contact him and begin texting once or twice a week. In these past months, we've renewed our friendship and have had many good chats. I am going to miss him and those chats very much. My love, thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends and may God bless and comfort every one of you.
-I will miss you Steven :-(

I didn't know Steve, but if his daughter is any indication of the man he was, he must have been a great one. Thinking of all of you at this time of sorrow.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, Love leaves memories no one can steal.
So sorry about your loss. Steve and friends were part of my life many years ago and enjoyed time with you both. Take care. Rose

It was with great sadness that we have heard out about Steve's passing. We do have fond memories of our time and wonderful friendship back in the 70's and early 80's. Often times we would reminisce about those days as they were remembered with great joy. I recall a visit from Steve and Nancy to our house back when we lived on Haig Ave in Toronto when Matthew was so young that he was smaller than a giant pink teddy bear that we had.
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time and know that time will heal the sadness.
God Bless you all.
