Watchorn, Lorna Mae (née Hore) - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Lorna. Born March 12, 1937, in Wainwright, Alberta. Lorna grew up in Cooks Mills, lived in Willoughby, and in her later years, Welland. She passed away peacefully at 85 years old on March 20th, 2022.

A cherished mother, grandmother and gg, she will be deeply missed. Lorna was a woman of strength and humour. In her later years, she reconnected with the Hore family and spent time travelling. She enjoyed crafting, drawing, going to the theatre, being in nature, walking her dog Sally, and going for a pint at the Irish pub on St. Patty’s day. She was an L.A. member of the Royal Canadian Legion where she volunteered and played darts.
Lorna was ready for her next journey, so it is proper she passed away on the first day of spring, a time of rebirth, renewal and growth. Now she can continue her adventures with her loved ones who passed before her.
Per Lorna’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. If desired, donations may be made in memory of Lorna to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
