Obituary of Ronald Wallace Gore
GORE, Ronald Wallace – Ron was born in Redhill, Wentworth County, on January 7th, 1933 and passed away on November 30th, 2024 at 91 years of age.
Ron is predeceased by his beloved wife Shirley (nee Watson). He will be sadly missed by his sons Kenneth Gore (Lee Harvey), Martin Gore (Charlotte) and Daniel Gore (Brenda). He leaves behind his beloved grandchildren Amy Morocco (Chris), Steven Gore (Jessica), Melanie Ripa (Roger), Valery Gore (Darryl Biggins) and Lindsey Morin (Andy), whom he adored, as well as great-grandkids, London, Wolfe, Elliott, Drew and Connor. Ron is survived by his devoted sister Wilma Yurko (Emil), his niece Marilyn Aquino (Frank) and his nephew Jim Fraser (Janet). He is predeceased by his parents Fred and Alice, sister Irene Fraser (Jim), and daughter-in-law Jennifer Gore (Kenneth).
Ron spent his career at Ford Motor Co., U.S.A, and loved to fly his 1946 Ercoupe vintage plane and his remote-control model airplanes. He loved his winter home in Englewood, Florida and all his good friends there.
Williams Funeral Services has been entrusted with funeral arrangements. Cremation has taken place, and a funeral service to celebrate his life will take place at the funeral home, 722 Ridge Rd. N, Ridgeway, on Friday December 13th at 11 am, and a Rite of Committal will follow at St. John’s Anglican Church Cemetery at 2251 Ridgemount Rd, Stevensville. Donations made in Ron’s honour may be made to The Ridgeway Royal Canadian Legion, and would be appreciated by his family.
