The rock of our family. Our aunt Lorrie was an incredible woman who was a pillar in our family, and within the community. She will be truly missed.
One of my fondest memories was when she got married to her husband, It was the first time and only time I had been to a themed wedding. That life-sized Don Cherry cut-out was impressive! It was a big deal for the family, we all had Maple Leaf themed clothing, it was also the last time I was able to dance with our nanny. Our aunt Lorries wedding was a memory I'll never forget.
She raised two beautiful woman who bare the same strength and moral fortitude as she exemplified, and she has left a profound impact on many of her extended family as well.
She was a favorite aunt to many and showed no bias in love. Lorrie was a rare gem and a testament to the Smith/Chute family legacy. We love you Aunt Lorrie, Ad Astra!

Very sorry to hear of Lorrie’s passing. We grew up in Crystal Beach together and played ball hockey at the roller rink. In the past few years, we saw each other at the golf course on Sunday mornings. She was a very kind and sweet person and was called away much too young. I am very sorry for your loss.
