Passed away peacefully on March 29, 2024, at the Welland County General Hospital.

He was born on May 25th, 1951, Chatham ON.

Wayne was a devoted family man leaving behind the 2 loves of his life his wife Eva Pawson (Vrenjak), his son Mickey Pawson (Cheryl Curcio) and his step grandsons Michael Curcio (Stephanie Beauparlant), Braiden Curcio. Sadly, missed by his 3 brothers Robert (Bud), Jeffrey and Stephen. Brother-in-law to Milan Vrenjak (Helen), Frank Vrenjak, Bobby Vrenjak (Christine), nephews and nieces Fraser, Chad, Clayton, Zach, Patricia, Megan, Gillian, plus 4 great nephews and a niece on the way!

He is preceded in death by his parents Jack and Catherine Pawson.

He will be missed by his fur babies, Teegan, Big Red, Murphy and Martini. He is now reunited with Eddy 2, Maddie, and Miles.

Throughout his career Wayne held many interesting jobs - ASL Traffic Management, Freight Carriers Association, Peace Bridge Brokerage.

He was the proud owner of Oakhouse Services.

Wayne” Ebiker” enjoyed ebiking throughout the Niagara Region. He loved travelling and camping with his family, from the east coast to the west coast of Canada. His favourite spot was camping at Rock Lake, Algonquin Park. He would lead the way to hiking, canoeing, and fishing. He enjoyed playing baseball, hockey and cheering the Leaf’s! He was a coach for the Fort Erie Soccer Club. With his IT background he loved programming and challenges on the computer. (which totally confused us). In the 70s he was known as “Cuda Boy” tinkering and driving his 1973 Cuda and 1970 Grand Coupe Barracuda Convertible. (Yes, he used these cars to pull our tent trailer camping).

Funeral Service and Prayers will be held on Saturday April 6th at 1pm at Williams Funeral Services, 722 Ridge Rd N. Ridgeway, ON L0S 1N0. A time of visitation and celebration of friendship will follow.
