Obituary of Glenn David Stansfield

Glenn David Stansfield, beloved husband and father, has passed away at  the age of 69. He will be dearly missed by his wife Melanie and his six children Amanda (Rob), Elliot (Katie), Abbey, Emma (Paul), Lucas, and Isaac (Emily ), his seven grandchildren Chloe, Ben, Owen, Lucy, Jude, Eli, and Theodore and his brother Ron (Angela).

Glenn was known for his deep love of family and his unbridled generosity. He was also known for his passionate nature and boundless optimism.  This was evidenced in his annual declaration that “this would be the Leaf ’s year”. He was an avid fisherman and an amateur radio operator.

Glenn has touched the lives of many through his entrepreneurial spirit and leadership in the Niagara region, specifically in the development, growth and success of Fleet Canada.  

Visitation will be held at Williams Funeral Services, 722 Ridge Rd.N., Ridgeway, on Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 4-7 pm. A private family service will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be shared at www.williamsfuneralservices.ca
