Obituary of John Greer

John Greer unexpectedly passed away on Jan 26th, 2024 at the age of 63. John, was born to John and Rachel Greer on January 10, 1961, in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He was a talented man who loved his family and took pride in his career. John had an incredible career, holding positions at the Don Jail, Port Police, and GM before ultimately becoming the executive director for the Niagara SPCA and Humane Society.

John is survived by his wife Ann and their three children, Christopher, John Jr. (Amanda), and Tyler (Samantha). He was a loving Papa to Violet, Olivia, Giovanni, and Lucia. He is also survived by his sister Amanda Ellis (Nick) and brother Edward Greer (Tammy) and their families, niece and nephews Laura, Johnny, and Gary. John was predeceased by his parents, John and Rachel. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 4th, 2024 , from 11am - 1pm  at Williams Funeral Home, 722 Ridge Rd N., Ridgeway. A Celebration of Life will follow in the chapel at 1pm.
