Obituary of David Ogilvie

June 27^th, 1957- October 17th, 2023

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. David Ogilvie.  David lived a life filled with love, laughter, caring, special acts of kindness, family and humility.

David is survived by his daughters Rachael (Dylan) and Rebecca (Kenneth), his loving mother Helen (father Tom predeceased 2006), his devoted fiancée Theresa Blue (son Devon), his brother Tim (Lola) and sister Linda , niece Mary Helen, nephews Matthew, Mark, Thomas and Adam, Uncle Austin Miller (Helen predeceased 2019) and many  great nieces and nephews and fun loving cousins.

David was a talented Chiropractor in the Fort Erie area for 40 years as an owner within Ogilvie Chiropractic. He served his clients with care and devotion until he was no longer able to carry on.  He was a dedicated Toronto Maple Leafs and Miami Dolphins fan always cheering and always hopeful. He loved golf and spending vacation times in Cancun Mexico where he had hoped to retire.

Dave’s laughter and sense of humour was without equal. His sparkling blue eyes and his unforgettable smile will be remembered always.  

Our family is forever grateful to St Catharines General Hospital 5^th floor surgical staff who provided exceptional care during David’s hospitalization and great comfort in his final days. David was so loved and he will be missed by many.

A private funeral service with interment will be held on Saturday November 4^th at 11 am at St John’s Anglican Church, Ridgemount Road.

Following the private service, the family wishes to invite all who knew David to a Celebration of Life, including a light luncheon, from 12:30-2:30 on November 4^th in the church hall to support family and share memories.
