Obituary of Ronald George Morningstar

MORNINGSTAR, Ronald George "Mike" – Born on October 24^th, 1932, in Welland and passed on September 13^th, 2023, in Port Colborne. He is predeceased by his loving wife Jean Marion (nee Schweyer).  Dear father to Ron Morningstar, Sherry (Jim) Reinhardt and Scott (Julie) Morningstar. Cherished grandfather to Hanna, Payton and Emma Morningstar, Michael (Andrea) Reinhardt, and Travis (Kim) Reinhardt and great grandfather to Parker, Ayla, Allison, and Joel Reinhardt. He is survived by many nephews and nieces.

Ronald was predeceased by parents Olive (nee Haun) and Sperry Morningstar and sister, and brother -in-law, Bette (Duke) Doan and sister-in-law Lois Dakin. Survived by brother-in-law Butch and the late Eileen, Owen and the late Helen Schwyer.

Ronald lived all his life in Ridgeway until moving to Portal Village in Port Colborne for the last 6 years. As a young boy he delivered milk in Ridgeway with a horse and wagon. In later years he spent the rest of his time in Construction RE Law, Hardrock and Norjohn (Walker Bros)

Williams Funeral Services entrusted with arrangements.  A private graveside service will be held at a later time.  In memory of Ronald, those who wish make donate to the Diabetes Association or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
