Obituary of Rick Samuel Wowk

Richard Samuel Wowk "Rick", passed away with his family at his side at age 61 after a difficult and courageous battle with cancer. Rick worked at Ridgeway Automotive (Napa) for 32 years and enjoyed a lifetime of riding his dirt bike with buddies.Rick leaves behind his wife Cindy of 33 years and his 2 children Landon Foster (Noah) of Germany and Merrissa (Adam) Faller of California. Loving son of Sam and Jeanie Wowk of Ridgeway and son-in-law of Tom and Kathy Merrylees of London. Brother in law of Chris (Deanna) Merrylees, Jack (Andrea) Huhtalo and Wade. Uncle to 4 nieces Nicole (Andrew), Alysha (Justice) Maycie (Harley) and Laura and his nephew Justin, as well as his 4 great nephews Koton, Alaric, Marshall, Sullivan and niece Malina. 

Predeceased by in-laws Jack and Linda Huhtalo (2016); brother in laws William (1988) and TJ (2000); great nephew Carlisle (2017).

Williams Funeral Services entrusted with arrangements. A time of visitation will be held for Rick and Sam on Friday, September 8, 2023 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, Fort Erie.
