Mother passed away peacefully on July 9,2023 at the age of 96 to be reunited with her husband Bert,her son Glen and her parents Glen and Essa Climenhaga. Shirley, our loving mother and grandmother will be sadly missed by her 7 children,14 grandchildren,36 great grandchildren and 8 great,great grandchildren. Cherished mother to  Ivan (Judy),late Glen,Sharon(Garry),Lyle,Sandra(Brian),Orlin,Dale(Colleen) and Nancy(Gordon). Shirley's world and life was her church and when being with family.She especially loved sending cards and knowing all about her grandchildren and also an avid reader.Mother was our rock and anchor throughout our lives.Mother had a deep devotion to God in her life and always thanked God for taking care of her family. Enjoy Heaven, our beautiful,loving Mom and playing your Hawaiian guitar.The family extends sincere thanks and gratitude to the entire staff of The Hon.Ray & Helen Lawson Eventide Salvation Army Home,Niagara Falls for their care.love and compassion to Mom over the last two years. Sincere thanks to Pastor Marvin Massecar and Golden Harvest Baptist Church,Stevensville for their love and care given towards her.

A celebration of Shirley's life will be held on Wednesday July 12, 2023 at Golden Harvest Baptist Church, 3130 Point Abino Rd N, Stevensville, at 11:00 a.m. with vistation an hour prior starting at 10:00 a.m.  Interment to follow at Bertie Cemetery, Stevensville followed by a time of fellowship and refreshments back at the church.
