My condolences to Susan, Mark & Nancy and their families on the loss of your beloved Muriel. I have many fond memories of all the fun social events Muriel & Chet hosted/ were part of in Niagara & Kitchener. Muriel was a delightfully warm & welcoming person. She was genuinely interested in others, as well as current issues, and didn’t take herself too seriously. Throughout the seasons Muriel generously shared her culinary treats. As mentioned her Chelsea buns & baking gifts were highly coveted items..as were her mustard pickles & chili sauce. She will be missed.

Condolences to Mark and Nancy and their families. Aunt Muriel was such a dear sister and close friend to my mother. Remembering her kindness and friendliness when hosting those many Christmas dinners and other events. She frequently would visit my Mom when I was in Welland just to say hi. A fine lady.

Muriel had a terrific laugh and was a great storyteller. She was an avid curler and golfer. Muriel was also a talented seamstress and knitter. She enjoyed baking and we loved her gifts of Chelsea buns, Easter bunny cakes, bread, and fudge. When they were together, sisters “Moo & Mad” could be quite the pair. Above all, Aunt Muriel was a generous, caring person and I will miss her infectious smile and her joy in life.
