I am Louise, one of her March of Dimes girls. I alway looked forward to our visits on Tuesdays and Wednesday. It was a pleasure to assist in making her day just a little better. Something as simple as assisting her with activities of daily living would make her smile and be so appreciative. We spent the end of service talking about her many books and most of all how she was so proud of her family. She certainly knew how lucky she was to have such a loving family. I will miss her every day as I drive by her apartment. As I continue to work, I will carry her in my heart as she was a most amazing person and now the most amazing Angel to watch over all of us! My sincere condolences to the family.
I used to work for March of Dimes when Millie was brought on to service and was put on my schedule. Millie and I quickly formed a bond and it wasn't too long before she was my favourite client. I was always happy to see her as she would could make me smile and laugh even on the worst days. Millie will always have a special place in my heart.
RIP Millie, you are loved and will be missed by so many.
