Obituary of Marney Belfry

Belfry Marney (Nee Closs)

Passed away peacefully on November 24th, 2022 at the age of 90.  Beloved wife of the late Don (2006) and loving mother of Dwayne (2010) and daughter in law Channon (2012).

Much love grandmother of Shayne and dear sister of Annie Egan, Janice (Rob Hamill), Jean Andrews and sister-in-law of Annette (Closs) Bill Madson (Linda) and Lynda (Roehl).

Predeceased by sister Mary Williams, Rene Hill, Brothers Joe, Wilfred, Jim Closs and Brothers-in-law Bill Egan and Bob Hill.

Marney will be fondly remembered by her nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

She enjoyed the H.A.S.C. Car club, Antique Power Club and driving a school bus for 30 years.

Williams Funeral Services, 722 Ridge Rd. N. Ridgeway entrusted with arrangements.  Family and friends will gather in the chapel on Friday December 2nd from 10 am until the time of service at 11 o’clock.  A small reception will follow. 

Memorial donations would be appreciated to the Fort Erie La France Museum.
