James was my best friend since kindergarten in 1954. Our backyards touched each other and we used to jump the fence to go over to each other's house and play. It seems like yesterday. My condolences to Cathy and the family. There are no words that can truly express my sadness. James, thank-you for being a great friend and the best man at my wedding in 1972. You have always been in my heart and will continue to do so. Rest in peace, my friend.

Jim was a huge part of The Dam for many years. He was well loved by the youth when he volunteered on Thursday nights or in the anger management workshops. He provided great leadership on The Board of Directors and I appreciated his wisdom and insight in so many of our conversations. Jim was a beautiful man with a huge heart. My condelences to you as a family, and the community of friends who have had the privilege of Jim in your life.

I will always remember Jim as a loving, caring and accepting person, who always had the best advice for any situation. I know that his light will surely be missed. My condolences to the Kitchen family. May perpetual light shine on him forever. Rest in Peace.
