Obituary of Winnie Vance

Vance, Winifred (nee Hawkins)

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 8, 2022, at Crescent Park Lodge, Fort Erie.

She is predeceased by her husband Joseph Vance (1993) and long-time partner James Fobert (2019).

Loving mother to her daughters Connie Shilson, Sherry Vance, Barbara Vance (Michael Embleton) and Brenda Whitwell (Todd).  Cherished grandmother to her grandchildren Billy Shilson, Mellissa Gagnon (Derek Hepburn), Joey Heitauer, John Gagnon (Molly), Nicole Stewart, Justine Harris ( Adam ), Trey Whitwell, Lee Embleton and Wyatt Charlebois.  Also survived by her great grandchildren Kalib, Seanna, Kaiden, Kamryn, Konnor and Aria.

We would like to thank the staff of CPL for their care and kindness over the past few years.  Your kindness is greatly appreciated, Winnie loved you like family.

The family has decided to have a private ceremony. Williams Funeral home entrusted with arrangements
