Obituary of Jamie Donat Beaudoin
BEAUDOIN – Jamie Donat
January 3, 1974 – July 20, 2022
Jamie passed in the comfort of his home and the arms of the love of his life and best friend, Merri-Lee, in his 49th year. He will be forever loved and missed by his cherished daughters, Samantha and Katie, and their mother, Trish, as well as his mother Cathy, brother Jason, grandmother Estelle, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Jamie was especially close with his Aunt Lisa, Uncle Rusty and Uncle Yves, who inspired some of his favourite memories throughout his life. He is reunited with his father Gilles (2018), grandfather Donat (2021) grandmother Kaye (2001) and best buddy Todd (2017), who are likely having one heck of a reunion.
Jamie had an incredible smile that lit up a room, a contagious happy-go-lucky attitude, a great sense of humour and an (insane) love for grass cutting, old cars and white t-shirts.
In keeping with Jamie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Jamie at Williams Funeral Services (722 Ridge Road N, Ridgeway) on Friday July 29th from 1 pm, with his service at 2:30 pm and a reception to follow at Fort Erie Conservation Club (2555 Ott Road, Fort Erie). A private interment will take place at a later date.
Our sincere thanks to Dr. Scher and nurse Liliya for their care over the last several months, and to Dr. Wasserman and the nurses and staff at the Walker Cancer Centre for their care over the last five years. Memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (research department) or to Fort Erie SPCA.
“The meaning of life is love…to love and be loved. Love is all there is. It’s as simple as that.”
