Doan: Robert Walter

Passed away at Greater Niagara General Hospital on Monday June 27^th 2022 at the age of 82. Loving husband to Glenda of 50 years. Predeceased by his son Craig (d. 1997) and brother Fred (d. 2017). Devoted father to Leslie (Craig) Methven. Cherished Grandpa D to Isla and Reid. He is survived by his brother Gerald and his sisters-in-law Jan and Heather (Daryl) Heath and all his nieces and nephews. Bob served 30 years with the OPP in Almonte, Perth, Toronto (recruitment), and Niagara (Court Officer). After retirement “The Mayor of Stevensville” continued to patrol the town after his daily coffee with his friends at Maes Restaurant. A memorial service will be held on Friday July 8^th, 2022 at St. John’s Stevensville United Church in Snyder, at 2:00 PM. Visitation to commence one hour prior. Burial to follow at St. John’s United Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to St. Johns United Church Memorial Fund or any Food Bank.
