Obituary of Carl Stevens

Stevens, Carl – May 19, 1945 – January 25, 2022

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a loving and devoted husband to Sandra (nee Wilson). Loving father to Carole (late Ian), Carl (Jacqueline), James (Cherie). Loving grandfather to Samantha, Amanda (Ryan), Alex (Kass), Brooke (Pat), Madison (Ashtyn). Carl will be sadly missed by his family, his friends, his neighbours and his past co-workers.  Employed by Hayes Dana for 37 years he was known as a great co-worker and retired being referred to as “the best supervisor”.  He respected his “crew” both at work and in his family life.  Therefore, he was respected in return. Carl was the strength for those around him.  He was a genuine, loving, caring, wise and funny man who loved deeply.  We will continue to honour your legacy by showing Kindness, compassion and unconditional love and support for each other and for others.  You made everyone in your life feel loved, understood and cared for.  All our lives were made better just by having you in it.  We are left with emptiness and have holes in our hearts.  You will be forever loved and missed.  Until we meet again in your words “Take care, hang loose, bye for now!” Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
