Obituary of Anna Marie Schneider

Schneider (Teal) Anna Marie - July 31,1928 to November 26, 2021

Anna passed away peacefully at Douglas Memorial Hospital, Fort Erie, Ont.

She spent years as hairstylist then switched her career to Real Estate until her retirement in the

early 90's. Anna was an avid bridge player and enjoyed reading every best seller until her sight

failed. Anna loved her friends and family deeply with a heart of gold. “Aunt Anna “will be

remembered for her

Sunday pancake breakfasts for nieces and nephews. One of her favoured quotes was “

Enthusiasm Promotes Energy”.

Anna loved her town of Ridgeway, she was long time member of The Ridgeway Lioness Club

and helped run many fund raisers.

Anna was pre-deceased by her husband Ronald March 28,2020 and son Patrick. She is survived

by her daughter Lisa Ochej (Edward), grandchildren Mollissa, Adam and Stephen Ochej:

Michelle (Dunn) and Michael Schneider. Anna also has two great grandchildren Sarah and

Matthew. Anna will be also be dearly missed by her sisters; Joan Fonfara and Patsy Burke as

well as many nieces, nephews and loyal friends.

Many thanks caring and compassionate complex care unit nurses at Fort Erie hospital, Dr. Shier

for his palliative care and many years of care from Dr.Che. Also, a thank-you to Billie-Jo and

Colleen from Garrison Place for taking excellent care of her for the 10 months she was there.

A celebration of life for Anna and Ronald (Ronald’s was postponed due to covid) will be held

at Williams Funeral Home in Ridgeway on December 8th,2021 at 11 a.m. Refreshments to

follow at the Crystal Ridge Community centre. Covid 19 protocols include masks, social distancing and capacity limits.
