It is with great sadness to announce that Jamie was suddenly taken from us on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at the Welland Hospital. He left us peacefully and without pain in the early hours of the morning at the age of 57.

He was predeceased by his mother Glenda L., whom he loved and missed most dearly and his father Richard T. He is survived by his loving aunts Connie Bronzovich and Marlene Scott and many dear cousins and friends.

Jamie was a gentle soul with the most generous heart. Some say he was a teddy bear who gave great hugs. He would do anything he could to help out a family member or friend. Jamie had an incredible and witty sense of humour that no one could compare; he sure loved his “one liners.” Jamie was part of the Ridgeway and Crystal Beach music scene for many years of his life and everyone knew how he loved his bass and guitars. He also was a true Harley Davidson fan and treasured the freedom and adventure of the road. One never knew if/when Jamie would show up for a visit, but you would always know it’d be a great time spent with heart and loads of laughs.

Special thank you to his family doctor, Dr. Marchi of Fort Erie and the incredible, special care he received from the doctors and nurses at the Welland General Hospital.

Cremation has taken place and he will be laid to rest at Mount St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Port Colborne, ON.   Private family ceremony will be held at a later date and in lieu of flowers, please donate to the Canadian Diabetes Association or a local Animal Shelter in Jamie’s name.

Everyone who knew Jamie will hold a big piece of him in their hearts, Always and Forever.
