Obituary of Bill Glover

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Wilfred Glover (Bill) on the morning of Sunday, May 9, 2021 at the age of 78. Bill had a long and courageous battle with cancer and peacefully went to sleep, at home, surrounded by loved ones; as he wished.

Soulmate to his forever love Sandy, loving Father of Christopher (Lisa), Jodi (Dave) and Kristy (Tom). Adoring Papa to Dalton Glover, Aaron Ryckman, Dylan Ryckman, Cierra Michener and Thomas Gentles. Very special Uncle to Debbie Hewitt, Darin Tufts and Jackie Tufts.

Predeceased by his parents Charlie and Ada Baker as well as his sister, Sally Tufts.

Bill was born April 27, 1943 in Chippawa, Ontario. He had great passion for his family, Nascar racing and travelling. Prior to retirement, Bill spent many years advising people with insurance and financial planning with London Life. During this time, Bill met many people, and was very well respected and admired in the community.

The family would like to thank Dr. Tharmabala and all of the staff at Walker Family Cancer Centre; nurses Robin, Alex and Barb; numerous PSW's; Dr. Spencer and Dr. Scher for their wonderful care. Also, heartfelt thanks to all of the special friends and family that visited and kept Bill in their thoughts. 

Due to Covid 19 restrictions a Celebration of Life will be held when possible. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's memory can be made to The Cancer Society or Fort Erie SPCA.

He will be deeply missed.
