Dear Family, As a young Police Officer, I had the pleasure of working for Sgt. Wood in the late 80's while he was in charge of the Radar Squad at Central Traffic Unit. He always treated me with kindness and fairness, hence he was a pleasure to work for. I also recall his strong Scottish brogue which was accompanied by his great sense of humour! Dear Wood family, I am sorry to hear of Campbell's passing. Campbell was one of my first supervisors when I joined the Toronto Police Force in the early 1980s. I will always remember how he welcomed, interacted, and assured the younger officers under his care. His voice, his sense of humour, and his smile are memories that have been with me for many years. Hi Rita: So sorry to hear of Campbell's passing. We miss looking across the street to see everyone relaxing in your outdoor entertainment room. You and Campbell were always so welcoming especially to all the neighbourhood canine friends. Campbell always had a soft heart for all critters big and small. We hope to be able to visit you soon when the weather becomes warmer and this gosh darn pandemic starts to recede. Take care and we'll talk soon. Dave, Donna and Hannah.
