Obituary of Lucien Joseph Gabriel Gauthier

Gauthier: Lucien Gabriel “Louie” (1930-2021)

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on January 28, 2021 in his 91st year. Loving husband to Ginette Gauthier (nee Lapointe) of 58 wonderful years. Caring father to Brian (Marni) and Bubba to Marc Andrew (Jessica) and Julia. Survived by his sister in Chicago Gaetane (Karl) DiMarino, sisters in law Therese Gauthier, and Laurette Gauthier. Louie leaves behind many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. He was predeceased by his 6 brothers and 2 sisters. For many years the Small Fry restaurant which he and Ginette owned  was a staple in the Crystal Beach community and will always be remembered for having the best fish and chips. The family would like to thank his nurse Elizabeth and Dr. Scher for there amazing care of Louie in his final days. Due to COVID-19 restrictions there will be a private family service. If desired, memorial donations to St. George Catholic Church food bank would be appreciated by the family.
