So many wonderful thoughts have already been expressed it is difficult to know what more can be said beyond "Amen". We too have fond memories, especially of the times we encountered Dorothy and her sisters. Also lots of laughs and joyful conversation. Dorothy's smile would light up any room. To all, we extend our condolences, and assurance of our prayers for the Lord's comfort and peace as you pass through this season of mourning.
With much love and blessing,
John & Barbara Day

Our sympathies to Mary Jane, Joan, Tim and families. Our families. the Bitners and Sibbalds, were great friends with many memories.
They enjoyed many years of travel together to their beloved Barbados. Dorothy was always the perfect foil to Jim's antics!
My mom, Joyce, and Dorothy were good friends from public school. What a wonderfully long friendship. They were canning peaches together when they were 90!
Anne and I always enjoyed our visits with Dorothy, who never lost her sense of humour or sharp mind.
She will be missed.
Virtual hugs,
Sue and Bruce McAdam (Bitner)

I have so many wonderful memories of Dorothy. The relationship she had with her sisters was beautiful and they often travelled as a pack. I was honoured to have been their minister for a few years. Dorothy was raised during a very legalistic time in the church but she rejected that unforgiving mindset. She was warm and welcoming to all she met. She had a sharp wit, a kind heart, a love for life and a love for Jesus. Dorothy had a great quality of life until recently and made this world a better place. She will be missed but I cherish the memories I have. Well done good and faithful servant. You will be missed.

This is a very sad day. A woman who had strength and courage that few of us will ever know. She was a true friend. Love and kindness was who she was. I will never forget Dorothy Sibbald. She welcomed me into her home 60 years ago and we continued our friendship all these years. Rest in peace. Her children were blessed to call this beautiful woman Mom. Love you forever. My deepest condolences to Paul and Mary Jane, Stephen and Jenn, Stacy and Berk, Michael and Farrah and their families.

I first met "Mom" Sibbald 49yrs ago when I moved to Fort Erie through my Friend MaryJane, She and "Dad" treated my then husband and I as another one of her children. She was the most wonderful lady. Now after many years she is finally with Dad. Rest in Peace "Mom". To MaryJane , Paul and family my love and prayers are with you all. Thinking of you with love.Jeannie (Hayward)

Love this picture of my Aunt Dorothy and her brother (my dad) Arnold David Marr. This was taken on her birthday a couple years ago. Always loved her fashionable style and sense of humour! Heaven has gained another angel!
