Forever in our hearts Marg will stay. We wish we could share our memories, photos, and hugs with all the family today in person as this was Marg's legacy - kindness, love, and generosity. Charlie will always have the times he shared with Great Gran in the golf cart honking the purple horn, raiding the candy dishes when visiting the house, and amazing experiences at Maple Island. We will always be thankful for the way Marg welcomed all of us into her life.

Judy and Susan, my sympathies on the loss of your mother. She was a wonderful person. I have many fond memories of her from years and years ago--church suppers as an example. Our mothers were true friends. They worked hard together, laughed together and spent many hours helping others.

Sue, Judy and families: Your mom was our second mom. We had so many memories from the Back "40", to Maple Island and all the hours we spent around the dining room table do crafts, wrapping baskets and whatever she would want us to do. She had the best sense of humour. To this day I have a giggle every time I think of the times we spent together and the things she would say. She will be greatly missed by our family, as well as a great friend. Shawn and Rick Watson

When my Dad ( Jack McCutcheon) and Don Plyley met at Mechanics school in the Niagara area in 1953, it was the beginning of a long and happy relationship between our two families. Over the years there have been many trips back and forth between Brussels and Stevensville for visits, many trips to Florida, Jack's farm parties for birthdays, weddings, and anniversaries and yearly gatherings up north at Maple Island on Labour Day. We are like one big extended family! We treasure all the times we spent together especially with Marg and Don. My family would make a yearly trip down in the summer to visit the Plyleys and take in some of the attractions at Niagara Falls. My kids would enjoy golf cart rides in the back 40 and camping with Karlene and Lacey at Yogi Bear Campground. In the later years, Bruce and I would visit between Christmas and New Years and always stayed at Marg's house. We loved to spend time with her, catching up with each other or listening to the Gaithers and the evening news. She always had the best coffee cake and poached eggs for breakfast and the accommodations were 5 star! Bruce and I will really miss chatting with her on the phone and I know my mom will be missing her long time friend.
So many good memories...…….so much love for Marg. Thinking of the whole family at this time. Hugs to you all!
