It is with deep sorrow that Paul’s family announces his passing at the Palliative Care Unit of Douglas Memorial Hospital in Fort Erie, Ontario on November 6, 2019 in his 77^th year. Paul was a resident of Allanburg, Ontario for over 40 years. Born in Fort Erie Ontario on April 4, 1943 at the Douglas Memorial Hospital, Paul is the son of the late Mary Margaret (Earley) Hopley (1952) and Alfred William Hopley (1993) Survived by his sister Dianne Hopley of Fort Erie, Brother Mark Hopley (Laura) of Courtenay, B.C. and step brothers Frank and Harry (Bunny) Bremner all of Fort Erie. Much loved “UP” to Thomas and Molly Hopley of Courtenay B.C., Treasured friend to Carolyn (Jon) Brooker of Nags Head North Carolina and adored “Uncle” to Kate (Tim) Evans and J.P. (Cathy) Brooker all of St. Petersberg, Florida. Paul will be sorely missed by cousins Garry (Margareta) Skerrett, Marsha (Bill) Brunton all of Ridgeway, Brian (Sharon) Skerrett of Eden Hills Ont and Brandley Ware of Fort Erie and Boston Massachusetts.
