Catherine and family,
My condolences on the passing of Ken. I only knew Ken for a short period while at Northland Pointe. He seemed to be a kind, gentle man. Thank you to Catherine for taking the time to talk with me while visiting Ken.

We are so sorry to see that Ken had passed away. I'm certain he will be missed by all. Wow, Catherine, how your family has grown.
I do remember Ken's time as an Instructor and friend with the Air Cadets. Ken and I took a group of cadets to Philadelphia one summer to Naval Air Station Willowgrove. At our cadet hall there are still pictures of that trip including some with Ken. The picture in this obituary is exactly how I remember him. I enjoyed working and learning from him.
When the squadron bought our first bus it was Ken who supervised the painting of the lettering on the sides. He did the outline and I painted the centre portion. He took me sailing one day in what I recall as very rough weather on the lake. There was a point where I thought we were going to crash into shore we were going so fast. Ken had a calming affect on me and we landed just fine. Do you remember the goat you got from Dorene and I. I can't forget visiting you and the goat was under the kitchen table. Its funny some of the things you associate with a person.
Our prayers go out to you all as you say goodbye to Ken.

From the Walker family and Ken’s old friend (think Albacore sailing) the late Johnny Walker, our hearts and thoughts are with you. What a wonderful and warm smile. That is what so many of us remember about Ken.

Dear Catharin: I wish I had known Ken better. He was a joy to be with on the curling rink, and a real gentleman to visit with after.
My sympathies to you and your family.
