Harry was a great guy, and I enjoyed his stories of growing up on the farm in Ridgeville. He helped pick the fruit and take into the Market in Welland. Being a carpenter, I have seen a lot of his skilled work at Cathy's. I will miss visiting him and hearing how life was when he was young. My condolences, Cath.

Last saw Uncle Harry in April 2013. It was a quick visit to the retirement home he was living in on my way back to London. He was sitting at the nursing station joking with the staff. I have many wonderful memories of spending summers in Crystal Beach visiting Harry and his wife my aunt Vera, who was my mother Evelyn's sister. Harry loved to show anyone his antiques and homes he had built in the area. His love for history and the surrounding area was very evident when you spoke with him. Now he is with his beloved Vera and his family in a much better place.
