Obituary of Rose Ann Plato

PLATO, Rose Ann – passed away peacefully at Gilmore Lodge in Fort Erie, with her family by her side, on Monday July 30th, 2018 in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Edwin Plato (April 2017). Loving mother of Sally Stafford (Mike). Cherished grandmother of Liam and Brayden Stafford. Dear sister of Nancy Kubena (Frank) and Mary Sherk (Gerry) and sister-in-law of Elaine Plato (late Earl). Predeceased by her brother Dave Green (Marilyn), sisters Lilian Butt (Bill) and Georgina Zelda (Sterling) and brother-in-law William Plato (Neva). She will be lovingly remembered by everyone in the Baker family and her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Plato was a lifelong resident of Fort Erie/Ridgeway, she taught Kindergarten for over 30 years at Crystal Beach Public School. Rose Ann was a dedicated mother and grandmother and enjoyed baking and gardening. She had a kind and gentle soul and a true love for animals, plants and everything nature had to offer. Williams Funeral Services, 722 Ridge Road N. Ridgeway have been entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 from 6 - 8 p.m. A service to celebrate her life will be held at All Saint’s Anglican Church, 149 South Mill Street, Ridgeway on Thursday, August 2nd at 11 a.m. with interment to follow in McAffee Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to All Saints Anglican Church or the Canadian Wildlife Federation.
