Obituary of Eleanor Doris Claus

CLAUS, ELEANOR DORIS (nee Seburn) – At the Greater Niagara General Hospital on March 29th 2018 at the age of 79. Predeceased by her husband James Leroy Claus. Eleanor is survived by her children; Laura (Scott) Murchison, Leah (Austin) Toth, Bill (Isabel) Beam and their children and grandchildren. She is also survived by step-children; Sharon (Ed) Cassidy, David, Debrah (Sam) Cross, Joseph (Shelly), Glenn, Ken (Diane) and Mary Lou (Ric) Harry, and many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sisters; Shirley Bruinenburg, Joyce Nigh and her brother Allan Seburn. Eleanor was an adherent of The Faith Reformed Church and very much enjoyed Bible Study and her church friends. A retiree from UPS, she enjoyed playing cards, attending community social events and spending time with family. Over the years she enjoyed bowling, square dancing and attending conservation club and car club events. Williams Funeral Services, 722 Ridge Rd. N., Ridgeway, entrusted with arrangements. A visitation will be held on Tuesday April 3rd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of her life will take place at The Faith Reformed Church, Stevensville on Wednesday April 4th, at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at McAffee Cemetery. In memory of Eleanor those who wish may donate to The Faith Reformed Church or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
