Obituary of Donna McPhee

Donna E. McPhee (nee Shaddock) October 11, 1948 - March 12, 2018 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Donna at the Greater Niagara General Hospital with her family at her side. Donna is survived by Bill, her soul mate, best friend and loving husband of 48 years, daughters Sarah (Aaron) and Stephanie and the light of her life her grandchildren Cassidy, Jessica and Michael. She is survived by her mother Betty Shaddock and brothers Mark Shaddock, Conrad (Barb) and Lorne (Joyce). She is also survived by her brother in law Jim McPhee (Linda) and sisters-in-law Lillian Braunbach and Patty Beam (Duane) as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Donna will also be missed by her extended family at the Garrison Road Public School. Donna loved life and especially loved her family. She will always be remembered by her warm smile and comforting nature. She believed in living a life of kindness and always looking at the bright side of things. She loved to cook for her family, always looking for new recipes and she loved working on her yard. She would spend hours making her home beautiful and welcoming to all. She was truly an angel on earth and she has touched many lives and will never be forgotten by those who loved her. Donna knew how lucky she was to still have her mother, and not a day went by that Donna was not grateful for her mother. Cremation has taken place and a private ceremony has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date so all who knew and loved Donna can celebrate what a wonderful woman she was. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Williams Funeral Services, 722 Ridge Road North, Ridgeway. Donna loved all children and lived her life to help others, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Ronald McDonald House in Hamilton or a charity of your choice.
