Obituary of Linda Bythell

Bythell, Linda “Lou” Elaine A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Lou passed away peacefully surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer at the Douglas Memorial Hospital on February 21, 2018 at the age of 67. She will be sadly missed by her husband and best friend, Paul. Cherished mother of Nathan (Kim) and Colleen (Brent) Hyde. Loving nana of Tyler, Luke and Maddy. Survived by her siblings Gloria (Marty) Steiger, Larry (Jackie) Doner, Cathi (Bruce) Owen, Karen (Eddie) Minor, brother-in-law Patrick Coulis, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law on the Bythell side, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her sister, Faye Coulis, and brother, Keith Doner “Squeak”. Lou’s strength, faith in God and her love for life will live on in our hearts forever. Her dedication and love for her grandchildren was extended to their friends and teammates. Nana Lou spent countless hours at the arena, soccer field and the YMCA cheering on the kids. Her favourite past times included spending time with family, eating out with friends, camping at Lake of Two Rivers, golfing and cleaning! The family would like to thank her palliative care nurses, Elizabeth and Carole. Private family services will be held at a later date.
