Obituary of Garrett Mills

MILLS, Garrett (Garry) David - After a long and happy life, Garry passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at the Welland County General Hospital on Wednesday February 7th. Garry is survived by his wife of 58 years Jean (nee Nagel). His children Sharon Mills, Catherine Lundy and David (Lisa) Mills. Proud and loving Papa of Samantha (Philip) Portz and Cassandra Mills. Garry was predeceased by his mother Helen Mills, sister Donna (Robert) Mitchell and nephew Robert Mitchell. He is also survived by brother in law Harold(Pat) Nagel, niece Sandra (Brian) Mitchell and their families, as well as many extended family members. Williams Funeral Services (722 Ridge Rd. N, Ridgeway) entrusted with arrangements. Family will receive friends on Sunday, February 11 from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm. Service to be held on Monday, February 12, 2018 at 11:00 am at St. John’s Lutheran Church (3837 Netherby Road, Snyder (Stevensville), Ontario L0S 1S0). In honour of Garry, the family would appreciate consideration of donations to St John’s Lutheran Church 150th Anniversary Window Fund or Alzheimer’s Society Niagara Foundation.
