Obituary of Betty Jean Waddell

Waddell, Betty (nee Forbes)-January 16, 1933 - January 31, 2018. Mom earned her wings surrounded by love at Pioneer Eldercare St. Catharines. Betts will be deeply missed by her daughter Deborah Morris (Jim) and son Bruce (Sue), grandchildren David Morris and Kasey Waddell, her dearest friend Bonnie Forbes her nieces nephews and friends. She will be welcomed by her husband of fifty years, Bruce, her parents Tom and Ivy Forbes, her brothers Tom, Bob, and Don and her fun loving nursing friends. A life well lived, Betty was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, Registered Nurse and friend. She enjoyed gardening, travelling, knitting genealogy and a glass of whiskey. Her later journey was lived with joy and dignity with the help of Bill Falkenberg , Crystal Beach Firefighters Brian Brown, his daughter Sharaya , and Jon Witkowski and his family. Our family will always be grateful for the support of Anna Schmoll, her staff at Rose Hill Lane and the loving compassionate care mom received at Pioneer Eldercare.
