Earl was a great friend and mentor, We went out for breakfast often and then on hunts for wild life, flora and fauna. I would send him pictures of mushroom and flowers from Marcy woods when he could no longer go there and loved to see and discuss these. We also shared a love of History starting out many years ago talking about Ridgeway's Peg Leg Railway. He will be greatly missed. A fellow U.E, (Unity of the Empire) "We will remember him"!

Am sorry to hear of Earl"s passing. He has left a wonderful loving family and his legacy lives on in his children, grand children and great grand children. He touched many people who weekly read his column, we all learned a lot about our surroundings from Earl. Thinking of you all at this difficult time.
