Obituary of Yolande M. Tykolis

TYKOLIS, Yolande M. – On December 6th, 2017 Yolande peacefully passed away at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, after a brief illness, in her 92nd year. Predeceased by her husband Stephen J, her daughter, Mary Ann, her grandchildren Liam Freeman-Tykolis and Jane Boys, her brothers Jean Marie and Rudolph and her sister Doris Roversi. She is survived by her children Richard (Lois), Diane Mathes, Terry (Nina), Patricia, Tim (Kim) Marianne (Stephen) and Stephanie (Rich). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, brother Hilario Garand, sisters Laureanne Perreault, Gisele Malagutti and Lorraine Labrie. Yolande will be sadly missed by her many extended family and friends Williams Funeral Services, 722 Ridge Rd, N, Ridgeway, has been entrusted with arrangements. Family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church, Snyder on Saturday morning at 11 am. Rite of committal to follow in church cemetery. A special thank you to all the staff, nurses and doctors at Welland and Niagara Falls Hospital, also to Dr. Che and nurse Donna for their faithful attendance and all the family and friends who cared for our mom. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate to St. Joseph’s Church.
