Obituary of Mary Irwin

IRWIN, MARY - The beloved Mary Irwin (nee Krieg) passed on from this life, in the early morning of November 7th 2017, in the comfort of her room at Gilmore Lodge. She lived her life selflessly and with much humour, and deserves to be remembered as the gracious, giving, and gregarious woman she was. Loving mother of Deanna Marinucci (Mark Brant) (late Philip Edward Marinucci), Brenda Inneo (Pat), Dawn James (Richard), Mark Irwin (Nellie). Doting grandmother of Mercedes, Emily, Jordan, Kyle, Philip, Nigel, Charlotte, Erin, Marlon, Averi, Sydney, Marla, Daniel. Proud great grandmother of Eloise and soon to arrive Ophelia. Dear sister of Joanne and Pat and sister in law of Judy Krieg. Predeceased by her parents Kenneth and Louise Krieg, and brothers Konnie and Michael Krieg. Mary shall be remembered as a fun and trusted friend to many. She paid attention to the loved ones around her and always went out of her way for others. In her later years, as her health was declining, never did she complain. Her strength is an inspiration to all who knew her. The family would like to thank Gilmore Lodge and Portal Village for their wonderful care. Heaven gained a new angel and if there’s a bingo room, you’ll know where to find her. In lieu of flowers, Mary would have loved to see donations made to the Ronald McDonald House. Williams Funeral Services entrusted with arrangements.
