Obituary of Andy Lightheart

Lightheart: Milton “Andy” Andy died peacefully at home on Saturday November 4th, 2017 in his 89th year. Survived by his beloved wife Olive Joyce of 67 years. Proud father of Leroy (Dianne), Gary (Karen), Pamela (Jim Douglas) and Christien (Gary Snyder) . Cherished Grampa of Rebecca, Josh (Nicole), Kimberley, Tara, Kylie, Sarah (Rich), Annie (Mike), Brittany, Brianne (Kevin), Gary Jr., Nathan and Jeremy. Adored Great Grampa of Christopher, Jayden, Alexis, Olivia, Hunter, Kaylynn, Leah, Logan, Talia, Adelaide, Lyric, Lillianna, Asher and Maverick. Also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Andy moved to Ridgeway in 1947 from Arthur, Ont. He worked at Lighthearts Dry Cleaners for 18 years and then went on to Fleet Manufacturing for 28 years. He dedicated 35 years to the Fort Erie Volunteer Fire Service. Andy was a devoted husband who was very proud of his family. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, loved to be outdoors and spent his retirement taking care of his yard and home. Williams Funeral Services, 722 Ridge Rd. N. Ridgeway entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Monday November 6th from 6-9 pm. A walk-past by the Fort Erie Fire Service will take place at 7:15. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday afternoon at 1 pm. Interment to follow in Ridgeway Memorial Cemetery. If so desired, donations to Lions Camp Dorset (A camp for dialysis patients and their families) or to Camp Bucko (A burn camp for kids) would be appreciated by the family.
