Obituary of Evelyn Woehl

WOEHL, Evelyn Catharine – Peacefully on Friday October 27th , 2017, surrounded by her family, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital at the age of 97. She is predeceased by her husband William (Bud) Woehl. She is survived by her daughter Mary Jakic, grandchildren Michele (Dennis), Mike (Keara), John (Tara) and Mandy (Jay) Jakic and great grandchildren Kalea, Laiken, Devin and Jaidyn. Evelyn worked at the Ridgeway Post Office for over 30 years. She will be remembered for the love she had for her family, gardening, fishing, numerous outdoor activities, craft work and for being an excellent cook. Williams Funeral Services entrusted with funeral arrangements, 722 Ridge Road N. Ridgeway. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A service celebrating Evelyn’s life will be held in the chapel on Tuesday morning at 11 am. Reception to follow. In memory of Evelyn those who wish may donate to the Fort Erie SPCA or to Douglas Memorial Hospital, Palliative Care.
