Obituary of Vera Mae Putman

Putman, Vera Mae (Hawkins) - went to be with her Lord at 11 pm Tuesday October 10th , 2017 surrounded by family. Vera was pre-deceased by her husband Walter Oliver Putman, son James and daughter Charlotte (Wreaks) Hardy. Survived by her children Marilyn Taylor, Sharon Guy, Doug, Dennis, Betty (John) Davis, Bertha, Nancy (Wallace) Karr and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren as well as sister Ethel Putman. She is predeceased by her sons in law Andrew Taylor and Alvin Guy and daughter in law Janet Putman. Vera loved gardening and spending time with family and friends; and would kiss and hug anyone who came to visit even if she didn't remember who you were. Vera will always be remembered for saying "I Love You - A Whole Bunch!" She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Williams Funeral Services entrusted with arrangements, 722 Ridge Rd N, Ridgeway. Family will receive friends on Saturday October 14th, 2017 from 11 am to 12 noon. A service celebrating Vera’s life will be held in the chapel at 12 noon. Interment at Bertie Brethren in Christ Cemetery, Stevensville, to follow. In memory of Vera those who wish may donate to the Fort Erie SPCA.
