Obituary of Doreen Bandy

BANDY, Doreen Emma - Surrounded by her loving family, Doreen passed away at Gilmore Lodge on Friday, April 28, 2017. Loving mother to Sandra Jarrell (Clifford), Velda Houle (Jim), Kevin Bandy, Roxanne MacMillan (Dan), Peter Bandy, Dwayne Bandy (Debbie), Colleen Bandy (Domenic). Predeceased by her cherished children Terry Bandy, Diana Bandy, and Paula Vincent ( Walter). Grandmother to Penelope, Kristian, Charmaine, Chantal, Dale, Michelle, Jason, Bruce, Brent, Brian, Chris, Nicole, Dianna, Alanna & Makayla. Predeceased by her cherished grandchildren Harold, David, Cheryl, Carey, Nicole, James, and Robert Jr. Great grandmother to 23 and great great grandmother to 3. Doreen was predeceased by her husband, Embury Hector Bandy and her friend Bernard Marchand. Doreen worked for many years as a school bus driver, charter bus driver, cocktail waitress, retiring as a Chief Cook on freighters on the Great Lakes. Williams Funeral Services, 722 Ridge Rd., Ridgeway has been entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 1st from 10am until the time of the service in the chapel at 11am. Interment will take place at a later date in Hermon Cemetery in Mayo Township, Hastings County. Donations to the Gilmore Lodge Auxiliary would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to the all staff at Gilmore Lodge, especially Parkway House nurses and PSWs, for their care and friendship to our mother.
