Obituary of Edwin Plato

PLATO, Edwin, Kenneth – passed away suddenly at Hamilton General Hospital on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of RoseAnn Plato (nee Baker). Loving father of Sally Stafford (Mike). Cherished grandfather of Liam and Brayden Stafford. Dear brother of Earl Plato (Elaine) He will be lovingly remembered by the members of the Baker Family, his brothers and sisters in law, his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Predeceased by his brother William Plato (Neva) and brother-in-law Gerry Sherk. Ed was loved by all and will be deeply missed. He was a lifelong resident of Fort Erie/Ridgeway and was a member of the History Club, Bert Miller Nature Club and the Garrison Road Church. Ed worked at CN but his passion was his close knit family. Williams Funeral Services, 722 Ridge Road N. Ridgeway have been entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. with interment to follow in McAffee Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Garrison Road Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
