Obituary of Bill Sauer

SAUER, BILL, It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bill Sauer, on Wednesday March 29, 2017 from ALS. Sadness for us but great freedom for him, he is absent from the body and present with the Lord. Beloved husband and love of Cindy(Weldon) for almost 48 years. Cherished father of Nathan (Leigh Ann), and Rebekah. Loved grandfather of Samara, Rachael, Emma, Paige and Logan, and great grandfather of Maya. Survived by his mother Berenice Sauer, brother Chuck(Carmen) and sister Sharon (Barry) Branston, and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Carman. Bill was a faithful husband and father, a hard-working farmer who loved the Lord and sought to tell and show others of his faith, in word and deed. He was a people person, and an encourager and loved by many. He was a faithful member, Sunday school teacher and deacon/ emeritus of Golden Harvest Baptist Church. Williams Funeral Services, 722 Ridge Road, North entrusted with arrangements. Family welcomes visitors on Friday March 31, from 2-4 and 7-9 at Williams Funeral Home. A service celebrating Bill’s homegoing will be at 1 p.m., on Saturday April 1, at Golden Harvest Baptist Church, 3130 Point Abino Rd, Stevensville with visitation 1 hour prior. Interment to follow at Willoughby Church Cemetery. In place of flowers, donations can be made to Golden Harvest Baptist Church building fund.
