Obituary of Bickell Maurgerita "Rita"

Bickell, Maurgerita “ Rita” – On Tuesday December 13, 2016, Rita passed away peacefully at the age of 89. She is predeceased by her loving husband Bill. Beloved mother of Howard and Roxanne Bickell-Talbot. Cherished Nana of Bradley (Lisa), Christopher (Bayley), Devin and Griffin. Great grandmother of Dominic and Hayden. Dear sister of Albert (Carolyn), Kay (Bob) and Vivian (Gordon) and sister in law of Marion. She is predeceased by brothers Roger and Jim. Rita will be missed by Judy, Kevin, many nephews, nieces and friends. Rita served in WWII in a clerical position, she married Bill in 1952, lived in Woodstock, later making their way to Ridgeway in 1969 , where they took over a grocery business for over 20 years, prior to retiring. Williams Funeral Services entrusted with arrangements. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday January 21st, 2017 from 11:00 to 3:00 at Crystal Ridge Community Centre, Crystal Beach. Interment to take place in Woodstock in the Spring. In memory of Rita, those who wish may make a memorial donation to the Salvation Army.
