Obituary of Osmond William Chambers

Chambers, Osmond William On October 12th, 2016 passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the age of 96. Loving husband of Florence for 72 years. Dear father of Sylvia (Fred) Ruch, Jean (Mark) Duguay, Allan (Margaret) Chambers, Carol (Charles) Keast, Larry (Patti) Chambers and Don (Lori) Chambers. Cherished grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents William and Flossie Chambers, sister Helen Thomas, and great grandson William D’Amelio Osmond served in the RCAF during WW II and worked at Horton CBI for 41 years. He was a long time member of First United Church at Sherkston. Osmond along with Florence, volunteered with many organizations, most recently 20 years with Meals on Wheels. Williams Funeral Services entrusted with arrangements where the family will receive friends on Friday October 14th, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday at 2pm at First United Church 5244 Hwy #3 Sherkston . In lieu of flowers those who wish may make donations to Salvation Army or First United Church.
