Obituary of Kenneth William Carver

Carver, Kenneth William- in his 82nd year, passed away on Friday, September 16th, 2016 at his home in Stevensville. Beloved husband of Lucille (Tucker) Carver of 61 years. Loving father of William (Jill) and Brian (Kate). Cherished grandfather (Gramps) to Andrew (Katherine), Kristin, and Jaci (Jordan) and great-grandfather to Jordan and Haley. Survived by brothers and sisters Leona Lightheart, Jean Hawkins (Lyle), Harold Carver (Stella), John Carver, Carol Brunt (Dan), sister in-laws Phyllis O’Hearn and Marlene Willick and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents David and Ruth Carver, sister Shirley Fish and her husband George, sister Rose Fish and her husband Charlie, and sister Evelyn Rother and her husband Lorne, sister in-laws Sheila and Mary Ann and brother in-laws Gordon Lightheart, Albert (Bibber) O’Hearn and Jack Willick. Ken’s interests were hunting and golf, but he was particularly proud of his 43 years of total service with the Stevensville Volunteer Fire Department #5 with 32 years of his time being an active member. He was one of the founding members of Patheon Inc. which was formerly known as Custom Pharmaceuticals. A Celebration of Ken’s life will be held at the Stevensville Fire Hall on Tuesday, September 20th, 2016 at 1:00pm. Williams Funeral Services have been entrusted with arrangements. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family, cards available at the funeral home.
